Ward F16 is a 15 in patient bedded emergency ward with a designated 4 bedded day case unit delivering an exemplary standard of nursing care to our patients. Emergency patients are received from the Emergency Gynaecology Unit, ED and other neighbouring health care settings. Our designated day case unit provides urgent theatre for our emergency patients 5 days per week in conjunction with our emergency theatres. You will be a Registered Nurse with Gynaecological experience who is looking for a new challenge within Emergency Gynaecology. You will have a pivotal role in the team dynamics being responsible to the ward manager. You will deliver gold standard care to patients and their families during their stay in hospital. Your role will be to provide care to patients from admission to discharge, ensuring trust standards are met throughout. The post holder will assist the ward manager in ensuring that high standards of quality of care are delivered and maintained. The post holder will act as a positive role model within the department for staff patients and carers. The post holder will deputise for the ward manager as required. You will also be required to lead on different audits being carried out in the department and relevant IQP as necessary.
