Our friendly and supportive team based at the Garden Clinic (Sexual Health) in Slough, are looking for a Advanced Nurse practitioner to join a growing team. We work on a Monday to Friday basis, work Saturday every 4 to 6 weeks. Due to the nature of this role, we are looking for those who are open minded and non-judgemental, with the ability to work in a highly confidential environment. Previous sexual health experience within GUM is essential for this role. You will have the opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team, where we offer incredible training opportunities, such as non-medical prescribing. Working within Sexual Health, no day is the same and you will be met with a variation of cases from testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, including HIV, and contraception. Giving you the exposure to develop and enhance your current skillset! Provide specialist nursing advice to support and facilitate high quality, individualised sexual health care to patients and relatives/carers without supervision in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team in line with local and national targets. The post holder will support and deputize in the absence of the Lead Nurse working in collaboration with another band 7. This will involve dealing with complex situations and having to take appropriate action in a variety of settings.
