Main duties of the job The post holder will be able to gain operative experience in the following areas: Reconstructive procedures for male and female ano-rectal malformation Reconstructive procedures for females with cloacal malformation Reconstructive procedures for children with Hirschsprung's Disease Therapeutic and reconstructive procedures for children with inflammatory bowel disease Diagnostic, therapeutic and reconstructive procedures for children with paediatric intestinal pseudo-obstruction and intestinal dysmotility. Specialist MDT clinics are held regularly for children with cloacal malformation, children with inflammatory bowel disease and children with intestinal dysmotility and chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction.
