A number of vacancies have arisen for Band 5 community staff nurses to work in the District Nursing Teams in Central Manchester. We will provide you with a 3 month induction programme and give support to enable you to develop and feel confident in your new role. We have plenty opportunities for training and development e.g nurse prescribing. Car Driver essential. As a community staff nurse you will be required to work as part of our developing Neighbourhood teams to provide complex nursing care to adults in their own home and in a variety of settings within the community. You will work closely with the MDT (Social Workers, GP’s and Allied Health Professionals) to ensure that patient care is effectively co-ordinated, demonstrating a positive impact on our patients. You will be a part of the multi-disciplinary Integrated community team working for Manchester Local Care Organisation which is a leading integrated health, teaching, research and public sector partnership organisation in the thriving city region of Manchester. You must be able to use your own initiative, work under pressure, keep to deadlines and have excellent nursing, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. You should be flexible and able to work as part of a team. We will provide a comprehensive induction programme and you will be appraised on a yearly basis with a view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate. Car driver essential.
