Main duties of the job You will undertake a lead pharmacist role working closely with Acute Care Unit team on all aspects of Medicines Management. You will work clinically across the unit utilising your independent prescribing skills to optimise patients' medication. You will have a key role in managing clinical pharmacy services at the point of admission and linking with other teams and specialities as the patient moves on their journey through the hospital or back out into the integrated care system. You will lead and support the development of junior pharmacists and other members of the MDT that rotate through the admissions areas and coordinate the delivery of pharmacy services to these areas. This will include oversight and governance of the EMU satellite pharmacy and ACU automated dispensing cabinets.
