We are currently looking to recruit a part time Medical Receptionist. The Successful Candidate Must Have Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain sensitive or complicated information in a way that’s clear, sympathetic and easy to understand to both patients & the staff within your team. IT & organisational skills with a great attention to detail. A positive attitude & ability to multi task within a fast paced environment is essential. A friendly, welcoming manner. Duties & Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To) Answering telephone calls & ‘signposting’ patients to appropriate clinicians Accurate update of patient database information Booking patient appointments Repeat prescription administration Issuing test results to patients, filing results & other relevant documents General administrative duties; photocopying, filing and mail management The successful candidates will contribute to the smooth running of a busy reception/administration department & shall provide the best possible care for patients in a helpful, efficient manner. Experience in a Primary or Secondary Care environment would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
