To provide support for patients both children and adults with special and complex needs including those with challenging behaviour and complex medical histories. Duties for the Dental Nurse within the service include assisting in the provision of treatment with Inhalation Sedation, General Anaesthetic sessions, General Anaesthetic Assessments clinic, Bariatric clinic's, special school screening and epidemiology. Applications are invited from an enthusiastic and conscientious qualified Dental Nurse to join our professional team on a full-time basis in providing a patient focused, special care dental service across the Tees Valley area. The Community Dental Service provides dental care for people of all ages, including adults and children with special needs and those who require specialist care or facilities, throughout the whole of the Tees Valley. A caring and empathetic manner is essential. You would play a key part in assisting our Dental Officers in the management and treatment of patients with various special needs within both community and hospital settings across Teesside. An induction package into the service will be provided. Full registration with the General Dental Council is essential. "}
