An exciting opportunity has arisen for a cognitive behavioural therapist in Southampton's Early Intervention in Psychosis team. The EIP team provides timely support to people experiencing first episode psychosis in line with national and local guidelines. We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual who is committed to working with a diverse, multi-cultural community. You will offer direct therapy to service users as well as providing supervision, consultation, and training to team staff. You will be BABCP accredited and experienced in CBT for psychosis. However, we will also consider applicants who have completed training in CBT but are not yet BABCP accredited -- in this case you would begin in a Band 6 post with a development plan to work towards accreditation. You will be managed by a Senior Clinical Psychologist and receive supervision in line with BABCP guidelines. You will have the opportunity to supervise trainees on the University of Southampton's Diploma in Cognitive Therapy for Severe Mental Health Problems. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in a research clinic and to receive specialist supervision linked to this. You will also have the opportunity to train in Family Intervention for Psychosis and receive supervision in this approach. You will work closely with colleagues in local services and across the Trust. You will also be part of Southampton Psychological Services (SPS), a large well-established psychological therapies team. We are a friendly and supportive team with a wealth of expertise including CBT, family interventions, DBT, CAT, ACT, EMDR and psychodynamic approaches. We have good supervision structures, an excellent track record of CPD, and strong academic links. "}
