The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and have experience in dealing with anxious patients and patients with mental and physical disabilities. The person should have good IT skills and will be happy to e-mail the MDT as needed. We prefer a health care assistant with prior experience in an outpatient setting, who is happy to work independently under the supervision of a registered nurse. The successful candidate will have experience in taking observations and ECGs and be knowledgeable about urine sources and sampling. Should be able to work under pressure and is happy to take on any task to improve the clinic flow and to get pre-op tests on patients done. The ideal candidate will have experience of emergency situations and will be happy to adapt to the constant changes in our department to improve the service. The successful candidate will be happy to teach bank staff and junior staff rotating to the clinic.
