You will be responsible for engaging with residents, promoting the Alleygating project, and ensuring active participation from all stakeholders. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on community safety and cohesion. Your Duties: Conduct door-to-door visits to households and businesses within project areas to deliver information booklets and gather feedback. Provide guidance and support to residents on completing questionnaires and understanding the benefits of the Alleygating project. Collaborate with community members to address concerns and build consensus around project objectives. Plan and organise community events and workshops to raise awareness and encourage participation. Maintain accurate records of interactions and feedback for reporting purposes. Represent Belfast City Council in a professional and positive manner at all times. Your Profile: Previous experience in community engagement or a related field. Experience of dealing with members of the public as part of their daily duties in a face-to-face environment, including dealing with confrontational situations. Experience in compiling and analysing service information and undertaking marketing and promotional activities and events. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of community safety issues and initiatives is desirable. Must have a full, current driving license or access to reliable transportation. Your Benefits: £12.38 per hour. Pension Contribution. Additional Information: Full time, Temporary. Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00.
