Due to our continued success and expansion, we are seeking to recruit an additional Care Coordinator to join our busy team in Bristol. We are recruiting Care Workers to join our passionate and talented team delivering domiciliary care to clients in either Bristol, Berkshire or Gloucester. In this rewarding role, you will make a real difference to our vulnerable clients; whether supporting them with their daily routines or personal care, providing companionship or supporting with light duties around their home, you will help ensure they are leading happy and fulfilled lives. Role responsibilities: Travel between client's homes to provide a high standard of personalised care Follow care and support plans to ensure clients are receiving the required level of care Prepare meals for clients Encourage and support clients in day-to-day tasks Ensure clients are taking any necessary medication, as outlined in their care plan Assist clients with personal care, such as washing, dressing, rising and retiring (getting ready for the day and going to bed) Make observations and ensure accurate, detailed records are maintained for each client Liaise with the office team, provide timely updates and report changes to clients' circumstances and care needs Communicate with the clients' family, providing updates on their care, and facilitating communication between the clients, their families and the office team Take responsibility for the safeguarding of clients, taking steps to ensure their safety and wellbeing, and reporting concerns when needed Take an active responsibility for your own development by attending relevant training (both internal and external) and undertaking e-assessments/ e-learning to maintain specified level of competency Work in accordance with the weekly work schedule and complete timesheets in a clear, legible manner including obtaining the signature of the people who use our services except in cases where it is known that the person is unable to sign. Maintain confidentiality at all times, adhering to Company policies and procedures Role requirements: Previous experience working in health or social care, ideally in domiciliary care or residential care Passionate, patient and empathetic, ability to maintain a client's dignity when providing care Knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations and standards Flexible and able to adapt to frequent, rapid changes Excellent communications skills - able to engage with clients with varying needs and abilities The ability to work well as part of our team, supportive and approachable Professional approach, with a keen eye for detail, able to follow care and support plans meticulously Candidates must hold a valid driving licence to allow them to drive in the UK, and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.
