Diagnostic Imaging provides a wide range of Patient services within multiple Imaging modalities, including X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology. You will be required to foster good working relationships within a multi-disciplinary department. You should be approachable with good leadership and communication skills. You should also be self-motivated and have excellent time management skills. We also welcome applications from junior B5 nurses who would like to work towards developing skills in these areas to meet B6 competencies in the future. We are looking for a candidate who has broad experience in a hospital environment and can demonstrate high quality of Patient care. The role is challenging and the successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of safe, quality care to Patients undergoing Interventional procedures. You will be encouraged to develop their clinical skills, as part of their ongoing personal and professional development. Ideally, you will have experience in Radiology, Cardiology, A&E, Theatre / Recovery or ITU / HDU, although other experience will also be considered. Training in Interventional Radiology Nursing will be given and it is expected that competencies will be completed within one year of joining the Team.
