You will attend weekly multidisciplinary team meetings , see patients in outpatient clinics and visit patients undergoing surgery or receiving chemotherapy or radiotherapy. The Specialist Nurse will contribute to the care of a patient group by leading on defined aspects of care. You will work closely with other specialist nurses, MDT team, and liaise with primary care and other specialist services, to ensure that patients are supported. You should have o Significant post-registration experience. o respiratory or cancer nursing experience o Advanced interpersonal and communication skills o Experience of multidisciplinary collaborative practice o leadership and organisational ability o IT and data analysis skills You will also be part of a wider team of cancer specialist nurses and be supported in your on-going development.
