As the first point of contact on the ward, the successful post holder will be highly motivated and will demonstrate effective teamwork and organisational skills as well as always being professional and have a friendly approach to patients, visitors, and colleagues. This role includes answering the telephone, greeting visitors, data entry, filing patient records, and other administrative office duties. You must have effective communication skills and good IT skills. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. To be responsible for co-ordinating administrative tasks relating to the operational running of the Children's Ward. Answering telephone queries, receiving patients, relatives and visitors to the department and co-ordinate on-line patient documentation through computerised patient management systems. To support the clinical team in ensuring all aspects of the relevant administrative process and procedures are followed to comply with relevant UHB policies.
