The post-holder will share their time between the two departments and develop a clinical pipeline for our surgical patients as well looking at other clinical pathways. The post-holder will be working with clinicians, researchers as well as key partners in the continued development of a MEG service. Main duties of the job This role is designed to give leadership and clinical expertise in the highly complex peri and intra operative monitoring service. The post holder will: Perform a range of specialist healthcare science clinical, technical and scientific activities Provide expert advice, opinion and training to own and other professionals in the field of complex neurophysiological investigations including MEG and will initiate and undertake research in this specialist field Provide specialist training to own or other disciplines and lead/manage the MEG team About us Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust is the first of its type in the UK.
