The postholder will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders locally, regionally and nationally across the cancer pathway (prevention, pre-hospital care, referrals into acute/specialist care, rehabilitation and ongoing care), with the aim of facilitating and enhancing integrated multi-disciplinary working to enable delivery and coordination of person centred cancer services. The role involves undertaking an advisory role and resource to other professionals, offering guidance and education as relevant, while also being an advocate for the primary care perspective of cancer care in Grampian. This is an autonomous role, working closely with the cancer triumvirate and HSCP leads, which would suit someone who is excellent at building relationships and motivating others. The current postholder retires at the end of March 2024 so we would be looking for the successful candidate to start from April 2024.
