This is an archipelago of islands of the west coast of Scotland offering dramatic landscapes with outstanding beauty, access to wildlife, outdoor pursuits and traditional culture and values. https://www.visitscotland.com/destinations-maps/lewis-harris-stornoway/ We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker to join our theatre team. The post will be mainly in the decontamination and processing of Endoscopes and the successful candidate will be expected to compete the mandatory training required for this service, which involves a 3 day course on the mainland. There will also be the opportunities to gain varied experience and learn in, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Oral surgery and Endoscopy areas. Working hours will consists of shifts weekdays and weekends. The successful applicant will be required to participate in an out-of-hours “on call” rota, living within a 11-mile radius or being prepared to stay in residency when on call. Applicants should be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with a flexible team-orientated approach.
