New Care has had a 0-agency usage for over 3 years as we employ a permanent staff team to ensure continuity of care to residents from staff that know them and that residents know and trust. We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring and experienced Home Trainer to join our team. To deliver and coordinate all our training, learning and development needs required in our Care Homes. You will have previously worked at least of the level of Team Leader/Senior Care Assistant in a Care Home, be computer literate, have a working knowledge of IT systems used in a Care Home including medication and PCS (or similar) and eLearning systems. We will provide development to bring you up to speed with being a Home Trainer with continuous professional development opportunities both internally and externally. You will be based at either Grappenhall Manor Care Centre, in Grappenhall or Statham Manor Care Centre, Lymm, Warrington and provide a Home Trainer service for both Homes. You will also need to work flexibly across our other New Care Homes when required but predominantly at Grappenhall Manor and Statham Manor. We have a full time contract available with an excellent salary of £32,750p.a. ! Working hours are normally 0900-1730, however we do require flexibility in terms of hours worked, and place of work. Role Responsibilities: Contribute to ensure New Care provides effective training, learning and development across the company by working as part of the team of Home Trainers Work with the Home Managers line managers and heads of departments to identify learning and development needs throughout the home, source and deliver where appropriate. Deliver, monitor and evaluate training and development programmes being undertaken in the Homes to ensure they are meeting identified needs. Respond to effective auditing and monitoring by providing support, guidance and training on our electronic systems used in the Homes where appropriate and in liaison with the management team of the Home. Effectively maintain The Academy (our e learning system) to deliver and ensure the satisfactory completion of mandatory training, refresher training and raise any issues with the Home Managers. Provide learning and development opportunities across Homes throughout New Care working with other Home Trainers to provide a flexible service delivery. Ensure that all staff are inducted effectively, delivering the Company's face to face Induction programme and using the appropriate induction documentation and ensure that reviews are carried out at the appropriate stages of the induction and introductory process. Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of vulnerable adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.
