Clinics are throughout Angus with opportunity for some home-working. The team is cohesive and supportive. Both peer and individual supervision are utilised and ongoing training and development are encouraged. This is best expressed through the words of current team members - “ There are many reasons I decided to go for a job in AAPTS after my year of training as a CAAP in the service. What has made me want to stay, is how brilliant the team is. The entire team is incredibly supportive and has been very welcoming from day one of my training, prior to joining the team as a qualified clinician. Even though we work as individual clinicians in different pockets of Angus, you never feel alone. There are also plenty of opportunities for development, and especially tailoring your development as a clinician in accordance with your interests. I also feel that there is a lot of innovation in AAPTS as well as opportunities for us as CAAPS to lead on lots of different things. I also really enjoy the landscape of Angus so it is lovely to see white hills in the winter and the sea on my clinic days on the coast” Ursa Klobucar (Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology) “ I was a trainee with AAPTs and felt so welcome and valued as a member of the team throughout my time here - this was a significant factor in my decision to apply for a permanent position with the team post qualification. Supervisors and colleagues are very supportive and staff wellbeing is prioritised within the team. I really enjoy the work and variety of work and opportunities offered within the team.
