Additional hours may be available on either a temporary or permanent basis. Those who prefer to work fewer hours are encouraged to still apply (minimum 22.5 hrs). The successful candidate will have delegated responsibility for discreet aspects of our specialist psychological therapy services, depending on specialist skills and/or geography. You will join the senior management team for the service and contribute to service developments and leadership. You will provide operational, clinical and professional leadership to colleagues. You will also be offering clinical supervision to clinical colleagues in our services. Additionally, there will be opportunities to provide specialist clinical psychology assessment, formulation and therapy for individual children, young people and their parents/carers within the service and to work systemically with the broader system. You will be advanced in your clinical skills and able to offer a range of different interventions from secondary training. The service is a lively, dynamic and supportive service with a range of clinical interests and developments. We are committed to CPD and supervision and encourage innovation and development, as well as contributing to local Clinical Psychology Training courses. You will join an established service which includes Clinical Psychologists, Specialist Therapists, and Trainee and Assistant Psychologists. We are part of CYPPS and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) across LSCFT. Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care. The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
