More detail about the role We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly Medicines Management team in North Devon. We have a fully electronic prescribing system which is increasing the involvement and engagement of patients, carers and staff, transforming clinical services and care. Our team of hardworking, focused, ambitious and friendly Medicines Management Technicians have helped develop the service across the trust and are valued members of the Clinical Pharmacy and ward teams making this is an excellent opportunity to work with a wide range of patients and healthcare professionals whilst developing your skills and experience in Pharmacy. As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients to stay healthy, when they need it most. This post is suitable for those registered technicians who already have an appropriate accredited checking qualification and medicines management qualification. However, we would welcome applications from registered technicians/newly qualified technicians without these qualifications who would be keen to work towards a Band 5 post and to achieve the qualifications within twelve months of appointment. Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week with occasional weekend and Bank Holiday working. Interview Date: To be confirmed. Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2023-4 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2023/24 | NHS Employers).
