Your portfolio will include supporting the medicine care group together with a role in day to day operational management across our busy wards and departments. You will be an experienced, visible and compassionate leader, supporting operational, administrative and clinical teams to deliver high quality care. You will have an interest in service improvement and will be a responsive and autonomous colleague. The post will provide you with an opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the multi-disciplinary team enhancing care pathways, managing service performance and ensuring timely access to acute and planned care. You will benefit from the support of your peer managers, clinical and nursing leads and the senior management team. You will be responsible for a portfolio of operational management duties including service performance monitoring, complaint and patient experience management, service planning and line manager responsibilities for direct reports. The post holder will report to the Care Group Senior Operational Manager and work in partnership with senior colleagues within the Care Group and the wider Trust to ensure delivery of the portfolio of services and activities within a clinically and financially sustainable model.
