At our Aberdeen service (AB16) , we support vulnerable adults living in their own homes to live the best lives possible by providing person-centred support to promote their independence. Each person we support has their own support plan, which details what support they would require, so you can expect to provide support in all aspects of their daily lives. This might include helping with personal care, medication administration, financial support, attending community groups, preparing meals and attending social activities. We are looking for flexible and reliable individuals who are keen to support people to build their independent living skills. The people we support have different communication styles and some are non-verbal, so the ability to communicate clearly is very important. Some of the individuals we support need consistency and routine in their daily lives, so previous experience with supporting these needs would also be highly desirable. We provide support from Monday - Sunday and are currently recruiting for 2 waking night posts. Each post is for 19.5 hours per week.
