To assist with the investigation and timely resolution of complaints and PALS enquiries We have a fixed term vacancy for a Community Staff Nurse to cover 12 months' maternity leave. This post is full time (37.5 hours) - Frailty SDEC is operational 24/7/365 so shifts will be day or night. Within the Community Services Division of Wrightington Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust , The Frailty SDEC supports individuals who require both short term medical interventions and a period of bed-based, Nurse & Therapy led rehabilitation. It will support individuals to achieve specific goals which enable safe discharge back into the community or their own home . Please note NMC registration is a requirement of this role. Under the supervision of the ward manager the nurse is responsible for the provision, organisation and direction of nursing care of the patients in his/her care. To communicate effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and high quality care is provided to all patients. "}
