We are looking for an experienced Therapy Manager to lead the KGH Therapies team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management, performance and leadership of the therapy services including physiotherapy and occupational therapy. As the Trust continues on its journey as part of a Hospital Group with Northampton General Hospital and as part of the local Integrated Care System, the Postholder would need to build effective working relationships to facilitate change across all aspects of the service. The post provides strategic leadership and overall accountability of the services with operational oversight. Your personal attributes must include a compassionate leadership style, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong influencing and negotiating skills, alignment to the Trust core values, and the ability to gain the trust and respect of colleagues and stakeholders. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of therapy management in an acute setting, be able to manage conflicting demands and be able to make high pressured decisions. To provide strong visible management and professional leadership to the Therapies teams, leading on the preparation of the Therapiesstrategic direction, and Integrated Business Plan Develop and introduce new and innovative systems to maximise performance and improve patient experience Responsibility for the clinical performance of the Therapy teams including clinical outcomes, patient safety and clinical governance standards; including Care Quality Commission. Producing strategies for the Therapy services that are workable and aligned with the overall strategy of the Division and the Trust. Be responsible for the Therapies service annual financial plans and ensure the delivery of agreed milestones Responsible for patient experience and customer value within Therapies, including patient feedback and complaints and achievement of all patient access and activity targets. Accountable for the effective performance and contribution of staff within Therapy services, including ensuring that workforce resources are appropriate for the level of activity and the provision of high-quality care, that staff are appropriately trained, developed and motivated and that change management programmes are driven with and through the effective engagement of staff. Working collaboratively with senior managers across the Trust and health economy as a subject matter expert providing strategic, professional expert advice. "}
