Main duties of the job SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES To work as an autonomous practitioner Attending to patients who wish to be seen by a health care professional Diagnosing, treating and prescribing for patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed illness or injury Making an assessment of their needs, based on highly developed nursing skills including physical assessment. Seeing and advising people in respect of their continuing medical and nursing needs Patients are to be seen in a timely manner enabling contractual requirements to be met Prioritise and triage the needs of patients accordingly making any necessary referrals for investigations in the appropriate manner.
