Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of people with Eating Disorders? We have an opportunity to join our innovative Eating Disorders service in a Band 6 development role. This will progress to a permanent Band 7 Psychologist post, upon successful completion of your course and accreditation. A core member of our multidisciplinary team, you’ll play an important role providing specialist psychological assessments, care planning and a range of evidence-based psychological interventions to adult clients with complex challenges. This is a varied role where you’ll draw on a wide range of psychological models and refine your therapeutic skills. We prioritise staff development and professional growth. You’ll be supported to develop your clinical leadership and change management skills and to develop supervision, consultation, training and governance skills to enhance patient and staff well-being. If you are a great communicator who can bring creativity to your practice, then you’ll thrive in our collaborative and committed team. The role is based at St Marks Hospital in Maidenhead and our base at the University of Reading, both of which offer free parking. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm with some flexibility for home working.
