The post holder will provide cover for the out of hours hyper acute stroke rota for assessment forstroke thrombolysis and remote hyperacute assessment/advice on a 1 in 7 basis. Provision will bemade for compensatory rest to be taken on the day after any significant disturbance after midnight.5. The appointee will also be responsible for the ongoing care of the following inpatients Arrowe Park Hospital Step Down Stroke ward rounds twice weekly on named patients on Ward 23average 8 patients, and advice for 18 beds Clatterbridge Hospital Stroke Rehabilitation Unit, average 5 beds6. The appointee will have 1-2 rapid access TIA / Stroke review clinics per week with access to same day Doppler, CT and MRI imaging. The usual clinic template is 3 new / 6 follow up.
