Our CAMHS Inpatient Unit consists of two wards rated Outstanding by CQC . The Hope and Horizon Unit, based in Bury , provide general adolescent and eating disorder inpatient care and treatment for young people aged 13-18 years. Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust have been awarded Lead Provider role for the Greater Manchester CAMHS Inpatient Lead Provider Collaborative and there has never been a more exciting time to join our innovative and quality driven service. We are looking to recruit nurses who are passionate about working in CAMHS , supporting young people along with their parents and carers, with the ability to work flexible shift patterns over seven days, including rotation to night duty. As a qualified nurse you would be a vital member of the team in delivering person centred care to those admitted onto the ward. You will be working with people who can be very distressed and display some very challenging behaviours. It will be your responsibility to provide reassurance and distraction, using care and compassion, for young people experiencing mental ill health. You will also be responsible for a wide range of tasks such as care planning and implementation, risk assessment, physical health assessment, liaising with the wider MDT, ward rounds and you will be a named nurse. We would absolutely love to hear form Student Nurses who are due to qualify and are keen to start their career as a registered nurse with CAMHS . "}
