The ward cares for acutely unwell patients in a fast paced environment and as such this role would suit someone who wants to develop their clinical and managerial skills. You will be encouraged to develop your own style of leadership and help the ward develop a first class care environment. Alongside your role you will have the opportunity to attend external training courses in clinical skills and leadership with the potential for funding to be provided. Responsibilities As a ward sister or charge nurse, you will be the responsible nurse in charge for the unit.
