Look no further! We are seeking a Head of Health & Safety to lead our team of H&S Managers and H&S Advisers across a variety of large and complex projects within the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and contractors, while also supporting our business in achieving our Zero Harm Principles. No two days will be the same as you navigate through different projects and work collaboratively with senior managers to establish a culture of continuous improvement in Health & Safety. How you'll make an impact • Lead the Health & Safety Team, planning and allocating resources for current and future projects • Act as an escalation point for H&S topics on projects • Assess the effectiveness of operational control and risk mitigation • Establish cooperation agreements with partners to improve EHS performance • Monitor H&S inspections and audits • Manage customer and external interfaces regarding H&S matters • Ensure appropriate reporting of H&S activities for projects • Investigate incidents and review incident investigations • Provide H&S training to project staff • Contribute to H&S supplier selection and ongoing monitoring • Carry out effective planning and management of day-to-day tasks across the team • Consult with management on legal and internal requirements • Act as the single point of contact for external and internal audits What you bring • Degree/masters in a relevant subject or NEBOSH Diploma • Extensive experience in a senior H&S position in a construction environment • Experience working in highly regulated industries • Experience in managing large infrastructure projects • Experience in offshore working is desirable • Knowledge of CDM regulations • Experience in incident investigation and auditing • Strong stakeholder management skills • Proven track record of driving change and improving performance • Excellent leadership and team management abilities About the Team Who is Siemens Energy?
