If so, this is an ideal opportunity for you to join our dialysis team at Dialysis Assessment Unit we are seeking for highly motivated and innovative Registered nurse who is interested patient empowerment and training in to help us to delver high quality care to our patients. You need to have passion for patient education and in home therapiesWe aim to support dialysis patients in their choice of flexibility and independence, which will result in better health, fewer medications and less lifestyle restriction imposed by conventional schedules. We strive for excellence and play a major role in advancing renal care nationally, whilst Nephrology nursing provides a rare opportunity to care for people with chronic complex conditions and influence positive outcomes. You can expect training that will enable you to become competent in hemodialysis, in return for your skills, enthusiasm and commitment we offer fantastic development and carrier opportunity and supportive management structure to develop and achieve your potential as band 5 nurse. The unit is open 6 days a week - Monday to Saturday 06:45-20:15 The post holder will prioritize, assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of care to an agreed and expected high standard. Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre registration students. Participate fully in a structured competency based programmes, as required.The post holder will take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team on a shift basis, taking overall responsibility for effective management of the team and themaintenance of high standards of quality care to the client group.
