You'll work alongside Advanced Nurse Clinicians, Emergency Nurse Practitioners, Consultants, Trauma Technicians and Senior Healthcare Assistants who support us all the way. On starting you're assigned a mentor to work alongside you for the first couple of weeks - we get lots of positive feedback about this. 124,000 patients come through our doors yearly, 18,000 of these are children & 700 are major trauma patients as our Preston site is the Regional Major Trauma Centre for the North West. The very distinctive Air Ambulance helicopter can be seen flying in & out of Preston a few times a day - bringing people from across the region to be treated.
