Hold a small caseload of complex patients, and support staff with management of complex clinical situations. Ensure treatment is evidence-based, and that patient-centered recovery principles are used to assess, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate interventions provided by the team to promote recovery and independence. Have an excellent understanding of the physical health risks and comorbidities for patients with eating disorders, and complications due to low weight and compensatory behaviours Ensure clinical staff are competent and confident in assessment and monitoring of physical health needs for eating disorder patients. Ensure clinical staff have sound knowledge and understanding of risk assessment and risk management models for safe practice with patients. The post holder will ensure nursing staff have access to regular clinical supervision, caseload management, and performance appraisals.
