We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and proactive team player to join our team as an administrator in our department. The successful applicant will provide administration support to the clinical team(s) within Imperial. The primary function is to work as an administrator for several Medicine of the Elderly consultants and other clinical support staff within the department. The role involves working with the medical team, the management team, processing clinic letters, managing appointments and fielding queries from patients and members of staff from other departments. We are looking for a friendly, approachable and highly motivated individual who will perform their role in a calm and professional manner, communicating effectively with patients and hospital staff, dedicated to delivering an excellent experience for the patient, comfortable working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. This is a busy and demanding role which requires a proactive and confident person, with strong communication skills. As MFE Team administrator, you will provide effective and efficient clerical support to a team of MFE consultants and other clinical staff, helping to ensure the smooth running of the department. You will be responsible for booking, changing and cancelling patient appointments for the unit; ensuring that all access and booking standards are met in regards to patient appointments, input and maintain information on local or central database for patients admitted, transferred or discharged from the ward; maintain medical records and patient documentation; responsible for undertaking clerical duties for the unit.
