We are looking for a friendly enthusiastic and hardworking nurse with minimum 1 years’ experience in an Outpatient setting to work in the ENT clinic. Good interpersonal skills together with the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team setting are essential. You will be expected to assist with every day management of patient care, providing comfort, support and information to the patient’s and relatives and ensuring high standards of patient care. An ability to work within a team will be essential. You will be expected to cover for the Sister/Charge Nurse in their absence. You will have opportunity to work in all areas of ENT and to develop your nursing skills. The ENT Outpatients Dept at the Royal London also encompasses paediatric clinics which you will also be expected to work in. To participate in and ensure that staff within the clinical area delivers evidence based nursing care in line with Trust policies, procedures and guidelines. To act as a facilitator to junior staff and student nurses, allocated to the Outpatient department. To support the team leader with the provision of services within agreed budgets and with the implementation of new developments. To take charge of the team in the absence of senior nurses and ensure the smooth running of the department.
