We have an opportunity for a Care Worker who is organized, reliable, and a team player. This is an important role to ensure quality care is delivered to the service users. Our service users live throughout London and require care and support in their own homes. The duties of the post are listed below: Generally, assists with service users over comfort and well-being. Assists and enables service users to dress, undress, wash, use the toilet, and bathe. Serves meals to service users at the table or in bed and assists with feeding if required. Provides interest and activities to stimulate and engage the service users. Helps with daily activities such as letter writing, paying bills, and collecting benefits. Undertakes cleaning and domestic duties including meal preparation as required. Monitors service users’ conditions by taking temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight, and contributes to record keeping. Liaises with professional staff in carrying out care plans etc. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documentation held in service users' folders and that all the written reports and administration are up to date. Management of medication. To record all necessary information clearly and legibly in line with record-keeping policies and procedures. Responding to complaints and queries from service users to coordinators. Liaise with carers/service users ensuring they are informed of any changes. Have the ability to work in a multi-agency approach. To follow the rota as allocated by the coordinators for domiciliary care services. Areas include Harrow, Ealing, Brent, Hertfordshire, Watford, and the City of London. Liaise closely with the coordinators regarding effective rota management, recruitment, permanent allocation of care & support workers, and the writing of Care and Support Plans. Ensuring all services are compliant with the legislation, safeguarding, Health, and safety per CQC standards regulations. Personal attributes: To be flexible and adaptable in their working hours. Caring, diplomatic, and have the ability to recognize the signs when the client is stressed and needs support. To be enthusiastic, outgoing, reliable, excellent timekeeping, patient, and persistent Knowledge and Expertise: Preferably 1-2 Years’ care experience Some experience in caring for clients in their own home Preferably NVQ level 2/3 Health and social care/ Diploma/ General Nursing Preferably driving license holder/ Car driving experience We are looking for Care workers to provide the following services: Personal Care Domestic Care Social Care Community Inclusion Companionship Job type: Permanent Working Days: Monday to Friday, Saturday & Sunday Mornings / Daytime / Evenings Working Hours: 39 hours per week Salary: £23,200 per annum"}
