Lead the Nursing and ED team to ensure safe and effective nursing practices are embedded throughout Schoen Clinic York and work with the Clinical Manager to ensure the rota is safely staffed to meet the needs of the service. Participate and organise the Senior Nurse on-call rota, managing day to day ward issues in line with Schoen Clinic policies and audit the on-call requirements with the nursing team. Ensure that the requirements of the Mental Health Act and Mental Health Capacity Act are fulfilled; Ensure the nursing team adhere to NMC guidelines; Assist the Clinical Manager and medical staff with the highly specialist assessment, admission and discharge of patients; Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, treatment and management of risk for individuals with complex needs, and support others to be able to do this; Provide specialist advice Demonstrate effective leadership, being visible and accessible to patients, families/carers, and colleagues; Develop and deliver training packages to enhance the knowledge and skills of the staff; "}
