Perfect for people looking for part-time hours or wanting a full-time career. As a Health care assistant, you will be enabling people to live independently within their own homes. The role may be offering personal care, companionship, medication, preparing meals, shopping, housekeeping and accompanying our clients to attend any medical appointments, social visits and day centres. Responsibilities: To share with other staff the responsibility of meeting the personal care needs of our clients in a way that respects their dignity and promotes independence and well-being. Comfortable to act on instructions or work on your own initiative and you'll enjoy being part of a close-knit team. The service we provide is expected to be of the same high standard you would expect to be given to members of your own family but is not expected to include tasks that would normally be undertaken by a trained nurse. Requirements: You don’t need any previous care experience or qualifications. Your personal qualities and values are more important. Friendly, kind, honest, reassuring and an effective communicator, are the people we are looking for. A driving licence and own transport is essential for this role.
