Main duties of the job Clinical Leadership: Act as a clinical resource in IV therapies, demonstrating expertise in IV medication administration and vascular access devices. Policy Development: Contribute to the development and review of clinical guidelines and policies to ensure safe and consistent practice. Mentorship and Training: Provide mentorship within the specialised area of IV therapy, supporting and supervising the practice of nurses. Patient Care: Deliver IV therapy treatments in patients' homes & clinical settings, managing and coordinating daily and weekly treatments, and support patients in self-administration of IV therapy. Collaboration: Work with acute trusts to identify patients suitable for early discharge, reducing hospital readmissions and enhancing patient independence. Problem-Solving: Offer support and advice on issues related to vascular access devices, ensuring effective patient care.
