The primary focus of this post will be on Urgent & Emergency Care (UEC) We are looking for a committed, high quality medical leader to join and complement our existing senior clinical and operational leadership teams. You will be expected to evidence a track record that demonstrates you have the skills to successfully deliver this role and also to be able to articulate how you would plan to deliver the key priorities as described in the attached job summary. The post is designed to build on the existing operational links between the Corporate Medical, Operational, Nursing and Clinical Management Group (CMG) teams; work alongside the Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Chief Nurse for Urgent & Emergency Care; Associate Medical Director (UEC), and the wider team to ensure active Corporate Medical support and leadership for programmes to improve unplanned care pathways and productivity across our services both in and out of UHL. As such, it will be essential that you are able to build effective relationships.
