Participate in clinical governance issues, which include medical audit and research. Participate in the consultant of the week system for general paediatrics at a frequency of 1:8 weeks. Participate in the consultant of the week system for Neonatal unit, 4 / year Provide on call off-site Consultant cover 1:9 frequency Contribute to safeguarding rota one day a month This is a substantive consultant paediatrician post, become available due to reduced sessions within the existing team. This is a traditional consultant post with no contribution to Tier 2 rota. The post-holder would be part of a team of 9 consultants providing paediatric and neonatal care in PCH and 2 community paediatricians. Neonatal experience required to support on-site neonatal services. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. Interview Date: November 21st 2024 This is a replacement 8 session post offering 6 sessions DCC and up to 2 SPA sessions. The post holder will be based at PCH. "}
