This role is a 12 month fixed term post which involves supporting and developing staff educational needs and the provision of a comprehensive education programme aligned with the National CC3N Competency Framework for Registered Nurses in Critical Care. Candidates must be a Registered Nurse educated to Degree level and hold a PG Cert In Teaching and a PG Cert in Critical Care Nursing or equivalent Critical Care Senior Nurse extensive experience. This role requires excellent clinical, leadership, teaching, and communication skills. Applicants must have current UK NMC Nursing professional registration. This role will work within the wider Acute Practice Education and Development Team, led by a Lead Educator and in close conjunction with the Critical Care Nurse Manager, SCNs and MDT. The base site for this role will be ARI, covering General ICU (merged with Medical HDU), Cardiac ICU, Surgical HDU, and the Hyperbaric Unit, which houses the only Category 1 Hyperbaric Chamber in Scotland.
