The post will encompass a variety of shift patterns within a team comprising of Clinical Support Workers and Registered Nurses. The post entails providing care for highly dependent children in their own homes. The successful candidate must have a caring disposition and demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, patience, flexibility and reliability. An ability to respect client confidentiality is coupled with the ability to work as an integrated team member. From time to time, the post holder may also have the opportunity to work over and above the contracted hours. Previous experience in a similar role, working in a community setting and with highly dependent children would be advantageous. SVQ in Health and Social Care at level 3 is desirable but not essential as all relevant training will be provided. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
