Prospect Park Hospital is our main site for people in Berkshire with mental health conditions. We have a number of inpatient wards which offer different services. We’re located in the heart of Reading, and you'll be close to the town's amenities and a serene leafy park. We offer preceptorships for all our Newly Qualified nurses. The preceptorship period is the beginning of your journey from novice to expert and is intended to support you to grow in confidence and competence throughout your first 12-month period as a qualified healthcare professional. We offer a tailored induction, monthly supervision and training sessions, and a robust structure of ongoing support. Clinical Leadership: You will play a pivotal role in the clinical leadership of our Mental Health ward. This involves coordinating and delivering top-tier nursing care, while actively engaging with other healthcare professionals and support service providers. Professional Development: As part of your professional growth, you will occasionally take charge of the ward, working under the supervision of senior, qualified nursing staff members or colleagues.
