Active participation in service improvement projects Tavistock and Neighbourhood Matron - Tavistock and West Devon Locality Band 8a - 37.5-hours, 12 month fixed term (or secondment for internal applicants) with the potential for the role to become a permanent contract An opportunity has arisen for a joint Hospital and Neighbourhood Matron to work across two organisations (University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust and Livewell SouthWest) to provide visible and professional, clinical and management leadership to inpatient and community settings. Please note that this post is a 12 month fixed term or secondment for internal applicants with the potential for the role to turn into a permanent contract. As Matron you should have experience of leadership at Senior Ward Sister/Charge Nurse or equivalent level together with experience in Clinical Governance, Risk Management, HR, Clinical Incidents and Complaints and Budgetary Management. You also must be a Registered Nurse and have the relevant clinical knowledge and skills. Previous experience in rehabilitation will be a distinct advantage in this role.
