The post-holder will be responsible for monitoring/auditing trust data received from Information Department and interrogating Wait list tables in PAS to ensure no patients breach the national Access, Booking and Choice targets of 100%, working in line with the Trust Patient Access policy. To ensure synchrony between outpatient waiting list and inpatient waiting list to enable tracking of patient pathway target times for national 18 week pathway. This will require extensive joint working with colleagues across the THH Trust. Lead responsibility for daily liaison with Consultant Surgeons, Consultant Anaesthetists and named Theatre Co-ordinators, across sites to ensure elective inpatient diaries are consistently booked with maximum utilisation and special/individual equipment for theatres is ordered in a timely fashion to ensure no patient cancellations are received due to lack of equipment on day and national targets are met. Liaises closely with: Deputy Head of Patient Access, Patient Access Team Leader- Admissions, Bed Management Teams, Wards, PAS Team, Outpatient Appointment Centre, Trust operational leads, Consultants and medical administrative staff, Theatre Co-ordinators, Pre-Op Assessment nurses, NHS eReferral and RTT Validation teams.
