Health Visiting / Early Vaccine Team / School Nursing & Family Nurse Partnership This post has been created following a recent management re-structure to provide additional management roles and the development of new service area portfolios across Children’s Services. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and forward-thinking individual to join our team. As a member of the Womens & Childrens’ Directorate leadership team, reporting directly to the General Manager you will be responsible for the management, leadership and performance management of Acute Surgical and various Community Services. NHS Lothian Children’s Services provide secondary and tertiary services, supporting the delivery of local, regional and national patient care. You will have experience of managing and delivering operational clinical services, service improvement and quality improvement including extensive staff and financial management experience. Leadership skills are a pre-requisite as are excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to think analytically, good influencing and negotiation skills alongside the ability to deliver change. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with Clinical Directors and Clinical Nurse Managers the post holder will lead a portfolio of work in support of scheduled and unscheduled care, ensuring Children’s Services continues to deliver safe and effective care.
