If you have over two years of critical care experience and at least one year in Radiology Nursing, along with a keen interest in the technical aspects of nursing, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join the Interventional Radiology team at St Mary's Hospital. St Mary's is a major trauma center in London, specializing in both general interventional procedures and vascular procedures. The department offers a wide range of learning opportunities, from basic procedures like biopsies and drainages to complex treatments such as Angioplasty, Thrombolysis, Aortic stenting, ureteric stenting, embolization treatment, and Liver Ablation. The role also involves developing skills in the recovery of post-anesthetic patients and Level 2 care. We believe in investing in our staff's growth and development. Our comprehensive orientation program includes in-house training, foundation courses, coaching, and leadership training. You will have the opportunity to build skills and knowledge in surgical scrubbing, circulating, and recovery skills. The role provides exposure to Endovascular work, microwave ablation, MRgFUS fibroids, Prostate embolization, Thrombectomy, embolization of aneurysms, and other highly specialized treatments. As a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be a key leader in the team, aligning with our trust values to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in this innovative environment.
