Exciting new opportunity for a part time Multidisciplinary Therapy Technician to join our Clinical Specialist Therapists working in Cornwall's Community Stroke and Neurology Rehabilitation Service. The service provides specialist assessment and rehabilitation for patients with acquired and progressive neurological conditions, including stroke across a variety of settings including patients' own homes and outpatient clinics, working within the wider context of adult community services. The post will be based in the North and East of Cornwall. Within this friendly and dynamic team, you will be working with experienced health care professionals as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team who will give support, joint working, regular supervision, appraisal and in-service training. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a rehabilitation setting, excellent communication skills, a flexible approach, initiative and confidence working independently with cases delegated. Duties will include following rehabilitation programmes provided by clinical specialist therapists, supporting patient self management, education and support of carers, wider health, social care and voluntary services involved in patient care. You will be required to manage your own time and will be working under the supervision of the Occupational and Physiotherapists, providing a high quality, and efficient service.
